Isle of Mull or Isle of Staffa

DublinToday the group have a free day to enjoy Mull at their leisure. Being based in Tobermorey there are plenty of things to do here, shops, cafe's and scenic walks a very short distance from the hotel. There are also plenty of day trips that can be taken from here including various marine wildlife tours and coastal cruises. We highly recommend the boat trip to the nearby tiny Isle of Staffa. Staffa forms the 'other end' of Northern Irelands Giant's Causeway and has a huge 'Finagal's cave' filled with the same hexagonal formations found at the Causway Coast. It's a spectacular sight found nowhere else in the world and relatively few people have seen it for themselves due to the remote location.

After a drive around the Highlands the group will be dropped off in Fort William, the small town at the foot of Britain's highest mountain Ben Nevis. The hotel here is situated in the centre of Fort William, right on the banks of the Loch.

This isolated castle has been used in many Hollywood movies and with good reason. From here, you will cross onto the Isle of Skye for a driving tour and little time to stop. Heading North, you will exlplore the spectacular Trotternish Ridge. There will be time here to explore the spectacular rock formations of the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock and of course the extraordinary pinnacles of the Quaraing. As well as walking and climbing, you could take the easy way and take the Nevis Range Mountain Gondala to the top of the mountains and enjoy a lovely lunch in one of the most spectacular restaurants in the country. If you're organised you may wish to pre-book yourself some tickets for the Jacobite Railway, commonly regarded as one of the most stunning Railway journeys in the world through the Highlands (think Harry Potter on the Hogwarts Express).
